Cleanliness is Next to Godliness

 

 Spotlight on Mary Ann Kelley

 

Perhaps you've heard the old expression:  "Cleanliness is next to Godliness".  If you like that motto, then you'll love Mary Ann Kelley.  Mary Ann has been cleaning our church for years!

 

Mary Ann first joined the congregation in 1956, and served in a variety of volunteer capacities.  She once served as Sunday School Superintendent during the peak of the Baby Boom.  "We had close to 200 kids in our Sunday School back then", beams Mary Ann. She adds, "We had two separate Christmas programs because we could not fit all the children and parents together in one church!"

 

Now, Mary Ann faithfully cleans the church, and gives our building the white glove treatment.  If you find our restrooms to be spotless, the worship area clean and tidy, and the Sunday School rooms well maintained, then thank Mary Ann!
